**Boo-hoo**

The holidays are almost over -- 5 days left before classes start again. I'm not ready yet.

In the course of just two weeks, about half of the Raros group have gone back to their homelands. Sad, really, to see the people -- whom I've gotten to know and love -- leave, not knowing whether we would ever meet again.

At the same time, I'm jealous. They get to go back to the comfort of their homes. Sleep in the bed since they were young. Eat mom's food. Lie in that familiar-smelling couch. Bicker with their siblings. And all those other things I've taken for granted.

In the case of the Raros group, I don't think we'll be initiating new members into it. No one can replace the ones that have left. Not ever.

We, the Raros, have our own table in the cafeteria. We even have fixed seating. It's going to feel really different to not see someone sit at the opposite side of the table. Or to nudge someone sitting beside me.

*Sigh*
