Daylight savings time.
Such a foreign concept to me. It's going to begin at 2:00AM, Sunday, which is roughly an hour's time from now.
From what I've heard, we lose an hour. What I understand from that is that I will now have to wake up one hour earlier.
Ugh. Daylight savings time.

For those on you on Friendster
, you should be familiar with the daily horoscope readings. I love reading those, not because I believe in them (but sometimes they do give good practical advice), but because of the amusement I get out of it. Today's (October 25, 2007) cracked me up:
The Bottom Line
Whether you are looking for a new romance or not, it will be looking for you today.
Whether or not you are looking for a new romance won't matter to someone who is trying to turn your head. That's why you will have to stay consistent in your reaction to their flattery today. If you want more, you should encourage it. But if you don't, today is not a day for sending mixed signals. You could be biting off more than you can chew. Nip things in the bud, be gentle and kind -- but say what you really mean and tell them what you really want.
Pfft. Yeah, right. False hope for my poor, single heart.

I've just had my first vocal lesson here in Avondale...
...and let me tell you that I've discovered parts of my body that I didn't know exist

The mid semester break starts tomorrow and lasts till classes resume on October 15. That's slightly over a week. I should be going "Yay!" at this instance, but I don't feel like that exactly. Weird, eh?
The campus is going to become really quiet. Too quiet, in fact. Although I haven't been socializing since I got here, I still need some people around me. Some noise. Some chaos.
It's gonna be a really long break...
